Overview - Shared Support Collective model
A 'Shared Support Collective' empowers NDIS participants to have more choice and control in the support services that they use, sharing these services with others. This model has been developed by Enliven Community through a pilot project that ran from 2022 until 2024.
With guidance from a Shared Support Facilitator, participants can work together as a Collective to make decisions about who delivers their supports, and how to ensure it meets their needs and preferences.
While the role of Shared Support Facilitator is not currently funded by the NDIS, Enliven Community continues to seek for this to be included in the NDIS price guide.
